Well I went shooting today after all. My really good friend Eileen is shooting her portfolio this weekend. I popped in to take some shots of her getting the set ready. Here she's painting an "open" sign.


So I've been creating some visual identities that will be different depending on what you hire me for - this one is a prototype for weddings. Do you like?

GOOD NEWS!

Alright, I know it's been a while since my last update. I haven't been shooting since my portrait shoot with the sisters. However, I have been very busy!

Here's the highlights:

-Found out that I'm able to graduate June 22!
-Starting to plan my trip to SCOTLAND, yes Scotland!
-Nailed a job with an acupuncture clinic
-Preparing myself for a gymnastics' meet at the end of the month that I'm shooting for
-Got accepted to be a NILMDTS photographer
-And to top it all off, it's my birthday month! (on the 17th I'll be 22)

stitches!! AW!

On the 12th I cut my finger opening a box of product with a boxcutter. AW! It actually didn't hurt too bad but it was bleeding like no other! Here is a photo of my stitches. Please excuse the quality of the photo, it's from my Photobooth on my MacBook Pro.

Been experimenting in Photoshop and learning some new things so I thought I'd edit a photo that I really like!

This is Juan. He owns the Taqueria Tepatitlan Mexican Cafe on Ventura Avenue. This guy is SO great! Not only doesn't his place have wonderful food and service - but I always have a great time there!

Today Eileen helped me with a portrait shoot of an Ojai City Council Member. She stood in and I took some test shots of her. It looks a lot like Model UN, yes?

21st Birthday!

"Where dreams come true"

On Sunday I went to the Happiest Place on Earth to celebrate my 21st Birthday with a couple of friends. All of us are photographers and have nice expensive cameras. So we decided that we didn't want to risk doing damage to our babies so we each bought a disposable camera. What a challenge! I think we got a couple of good shots...minus one camera that fell into the water while we went on the canoes. I'll be scanning them soon and posting more!
